One of our own, Claire Slavovsky, was on Jeopardy tonight. She didn't win, but she was clearly the most widely knowledgeable of the contestants. Guess that's the benefit of a liberal arts education. Oh, and for all my fellow Covenant grads, be sure to take the alumni survey if you haven't already. I'm letting them know that what I most valued about Covenant was not the diverse range of extracurriculars (though I did enjoy cross-country), but rather the well-integrated curriculum. College should be fun, of course, but most fun is free (for the institution, anyway). I'm also letting them know that the Chalmers Center needs more funding. If I learned anything while I was at Covenant, I learned that community development is an essential part of the Church's mission to the world. Therefore, shouldn't it be at the top of our budget priorities?...
